With the sub-zero weather and mountains of snow blanketing much of the country, we find many visitors taking refuge here.  Our island girl for February is Ashley, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  This is Ashley’s first trip to Siesta Key visiting family.  She’s currently working two jobs and is planning a career in special FX as a make-up artist.  In her spare time she enjoys running, knitting, reading, drawing and walking her pom.  Hopefully her pom hasn’t been lost in all that snow up there.  For all our northern neighbors, come on down and thaw out a bit.  Check out our other visitors who took advantage of our warmer climes… DSC_1080
