Themes a Big Hit at Kids Summer Beach Runs

kids summer run picHundreds of runners of all ages sprinting from the starting line for the final beach run of the season on fantastic Siesta Beach. Between 300-600 runners participated each week for 10 weeks.

 Multirace Triathlon Photos
Athletes competing in the first segment of the Duathlon Sprint, a 1 pic 0726mile run on beautiful Siesta Beach. They will follow this segment with a 12.4 mile bike, and finish with a 3.1 mile run. This years Multi Race Triathlon offered athletes one of three choices. Two triathlons included swimming, biking and running of varying distances and the Duathlon included two segments of running with biking between.
 pic 0744The first wave of male Triathlon Sprint athletes plunging into the warm crystal clear Gulf waters for a .25 mile swim, followed by a 12.4 mile bike, and a 3.1 mile run. Nearly 400 athletes from across the globe competed this year.
