Waiting out a heavy downpour did not dampen the spirits of Kimberly Johnson and Curt McGill of South Carolina as they were joined in marriage during an intimate ceremony before their beautiful family and friends on the spectacular shoreline of Siesta Key.
This amazing couple met at a Starbucks on a blind date set up by a mutual friend/co-worker. Love struck quickly as Kimberly related, "I realized Curt was the one, on our second date, aka first "real" date not just coffee. We ended up sharing food with one another. He was handsome, funny, and kind-hearted." Curt interjected, "I really fell in love with Kimberly when we came to Siesta Key for vacation last year. I saw how happy she was and couldn't wait to ask her to marry me." Kimberly added, "No matter how bad the storm gets, Curt helps me find the brighter side of life."
Most of Kimberly's childhood memories came from spending time on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. She has family and friends who live in the Tampa area. During one of her visits she decided to check out other area beaches. Siesta beach was one of them and she said, "I've been in love with it since. So it seemed fitting to have my wedding there."
After their fabulous honeymoon on Amelia Island, you'll find Kimberly and Curt serving their community by working in the healthcare industry in South Carolina. She is a healthcare provider and Curt is a therapist.
