July Is One “Hot” Month in the Stars!

ARIES (March 21–April 19): With a lunar eclipse in your career zone on 16th, try as you might, you won’t be able to keep a low profile. This month brings a rare pair of new moons—the first, on the 2nd, is a solar eclipse. Eclipses bring things out in the open, including all the work you’ve been doing behind the scenes. You can make huge strides, but with one “caveat”: Mercury is retrograde from the 7th to the 31st, which could cause some delays. Patience!

TAURUS (April 20–May 20): Going somewhere? When a lunar eclipse powers up your travel zone on the 16th, you might head off on an epic adventure! This month brings a rare pair of new moons, the first of which, on the 2nd, is a solar eclipse in your communication center. Eclipses shine a light on things that had been hidden. Focus on a few goals around friendships and family for the rest of July. But Mercury is retrograde from the 7th to the 31st, which could (temporarily) thwart your efforts.

GEMINI (May 21–June 20): July is great for getting finances and joint ventures in order, thanks to a pair of eclipses lighting up your money axis. The first, a solar eclipse on the 2nd, brings exciting new opportunities (asap or unfolding over six months). At the second, on the 16th, you could “harvest” seeds you sowed at the beginning of the year. One caveat: Mercury is retrograde from the 7th to the 31st, which could (temporarily) slow your efforts.

CANCER (June 21-July 22): July is full of opportunities and surprises that can take some of your top goals to the next level! A new moon/solar eclipse on the 2nd falls in your sign, flashing a green light on something you’ve been waiting to start or advance. Then a lunar eclipse on the 16th electrifies your partnership house, which is sweet news for single and attached Crabs. One “caveat”: Mercury is retrograde from the 7th to the 31st, which could scramble communication. Clarity is called for!

LEO (July 23–August 22): July brings a rare pair of new moons—the first, on the 2nd, is a solar eclipse in your mystical zone that may bring hidden things out in the open. It’s a time to let go and forgive! The lunar eclipse on the 16th highlights your health zone, so make self-care a priority. The second new moon is in Leo, supporting any fresh starts you’ve been considering. Note: With Mercury retrograde from the 7th to the 31st, you need to be extra clear in your communications.

VIRGO (August 23-September 22): Other people are your not-so-secret weapon this month as a pair of eclipses highlights your interpersonal houses. The first, a solar eclipse on the 2nd, brings some new opportunities (asap or unfolding over six months). At the second, on the 16th, you could “harvest” seeds you sowed at the beginning of the year. One caveat: Mercury (your ruler) is retrograde from the 7th to the 31st, which could (temporarily) slow your efforts.

LIBRA (September 23–October 22): A pair of eclipses highlights your work and domestic sectors, bringing exciting opportunities on both fronts. The new moon/solar eclipse on the 2nd, in your professional sector, is perfect timing for any fresh starts you want to make. A lunar eclipse on the 16th gives a green light to home and family issues: Kiss and make up; put your house on the market! One caveat: Mercury is retrograde from the 7th to the 31st, so you’ll need to employ patience!

SCORPIO (October 23–November 21): July is anything but “business as usual” as a pair of eclipses bring opportunities and power up initiatives that are already underway. A new moon/solar eclipse on the 2nd lights up your travel and adventure zone, yanking you out of your comfort zone. Then a lunar eclipse on the 16th accentuates your communication center. (Time to update your website or online profiles?) Just beware an off-course Mercury from the 7th to the 31st, when signals could get seriously scrambled.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22–December 21): No winging it! July is “get your finances sorted” month as a powerful pair of eclipses fire up your money axis. The first, a solar eclipse on the 2nd, brings some new opportunities for investing or joint ventures. At the second, on the 16th, it’s time to do some big-picture planning, with a financial adviser if necessary. Just one caveat: Mercury is retrograde from the 7th to the 31st, which could (temporarily) delay your plans.

CAPRICORN (December 22–January 19): A pair of eclipses brings “balance of power” issues to the fore. A new moon/solar eclipse on the 2nd gives an opportunity for a fresh start, whether that means couples getting to the heart of an old issue or singles downloading a new dating app. Then a lunar eclipse on the 16th reminds you there’s only so much compromising a person can handle. Do you, Capricorn! One caveat: When Mercury is retrograde from the 7th to the 31st, signals can get scrambled!

AQUARIUS (January 20–February 18): A pair of eclipses encourages you take the time for self-care and personal pursuits. A new moon/solar eclipse on the 2nd lands in your wellness zone, nudging you to get to the gym, do yoga or get a massage! The lunar eclipse on the 16th activates your imagination center and supports spending time in nature or following your muse. One caveat: Mercury is retrograde from the 7th to the 31st, so don’t try to push or rush anything!

PISCES (February 18–March 20): July won’t be “business as usual” thanks to a powerful pair of eclipses! A new moon/solar eclipse on the 2nd lands in your amorous fifth house, upping the romance and creativity in your life. Then a lunar eclipse on the 16th highlights groups you’re associated with. (If you do online dating, update your photos or try a new app.) Just beware an off-course Mercury from the 7th to the 31st: People might not be the way they present themselves!
